Keyboard shutdown, "Mark as Read"

1. Sometimes I do not return to computer before preset power management
turns off monitor; hence I cannot see screen. Apart from changing setting,
is there a keyboard sequence to turn off computer rather than main on/off
button.

2. "Outlook 2003" I work on a ship where anyone can read incoming messages,
then use "Mark as Read" from either in short cut menus (right click) or in
Edit, to hide their action. I know how to remove "Mark . ." from Edit but
can it be done in the short cut menu also?

Only if the keyboard has an power off button with software. Or esle you
could try Windows key> u >u OR Windows key > u >Enter, depending on your
settings. This is just a keyboard way of clicking Start > Shut down / Turn
off > Turn off / Shut down computer - ok
