keyboard problems

My keyboard will not work when I use Office products -
Excel and Word. It works fine in notepad and other
programs. the up and down arrows work in the office
programs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Office
Basic edition 2003. Does anyone have a solution for this
problem?

I doubt it is an issue with Excel or Word. Have you tried reloading the
keyboard drivers?

Try using a different font in the Office programs. Also, make sure
you're not typing white text on a white background.
