After a reinstall of win XP due to probems, my keyboard
is now setup incorrectly, so certain keys are not mapped
correctly e.g, shift 2 produces @ and not " as on the
keyboard. How do I change the settings for the keyboard.
I live in the UK.

Thank You.

some keyboards do this when they cant interact with
particular softawre such as windows explorer
etc...otherwise u can unplug your keyboard and do a
reboot...than power off replug and reboot...or uninstall
and reboot...check in hardware devices how the keyboard is
installed and u can change to a british or US keyboard..if
the problem persists get a keyboard from someone and see
if that gives the same problem...that will show whether
the keyboard is teh problem or teh software
