I have WinXP Pro installed in C: as well as D: i.e. when I switch on
my PC, I can select which OS to log into (dual boot). I had to
recently change my motherboard after which I find that though Windows
gives me the dual boot option, I can't move between the OS using the
Up/Down arrow key on the keyboard. This forces me to log into the OS
that is selected by default.
Please note that I didn't re-install Windows after changing the
motherboard. Also when my PC starts, pressing the Del key on the
keyboard takes me to the BIOS but pressing F8 to go to the Advanced
Startup Options doesn't work. In other words, the keyboard stops
working after the first screen when the computer starts but I can
enter the password to log into Windows & thereafter the keyboard works
fine as usual once I log into Windows.
How do I overcome this problem?
Thanks,
Ron.
