Keyboard oddity

Today I went to type an email and when I went to enter the address I got "
instead of @ when I went Shfit 2. I get a funky E with a dash ontop when I
try to type a question mark?. Everything else is working fine. I tried Word
and everything worked fine there. Any thoughts?

Check your default font and locale settings.

That was it. The font was set to +body. I never even thought about that
because I have not been into the font section to change anything.
