Hi, i'm in a Word ocument and suddenly evey time I now hit the Space bar
between two words it is deleting the next letter.Help please

You can save what you've written to WordPad and restart your PC.

You probably have Over type set - look at the toolbar on the bottom of the
opened document and you will probably see OVR in one of the small boxes. If
you have, simply click the Insert button on the keyboard to cancel it.

The above will certainly work for Word in Office 97 Pro - not sure about the
other variations.
