Keyboard driver won't allow standby.

On my IBM laptop, whenever I try to put the system in "standby" mode (either
manually or automatically) an error pops up that states that "the device
driver for the 'Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard'
device is preventing the machine from entering standby."

I've tried reloading the driver - no difference. I've updated the ATI video
driver - no difference. I've searched 'microsoft.com' for keyboard drivers,
but can't find any for the 'standard' keyboard. Not sure where to go with
this now. Help!!!

After searching thru the different areas, I found this link in "XP General":
http://tinyurl.com/4f77f - which led me to a Microsoft page that indicated
that Adobe Type Manager (V 4) could cause this problem - I removed the
program, rebooted my system and IT WORKS!!! I can now go into standby and
hibernation - and perhaps more importantly - get out of them!! Thanks!!!

I don't have that on my WXP/home/Sp2 and standby no longer works. No error,
it just pops awake after about 2 to 4 minutes. It will not stay in Standby
Mode. :-(
