Keyboard driver keeps Win2K from hibernate/standby

Error message that standard 101/102 key keyboard or MS
natural keyboard prevents computer from hibernating or
standing by. Using MS natural keyboard. Downloaded new
keyboard driver from MS, and still have problem. This is a
desktop machine with keyboard/mouse on PS/2. Similar
problem with HP laptop running XP home - even with
keyboard/mouse on USB (built in keyboard apparently uses
PS/2 driver).

I've seen that problem a couple times in the past few months. See if
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=257199 helps. In both cases I saw, the
culprit was an old version of Adobe Type Manager installed. I guess
upgrading ATM would have fixed it, but I just uninstalled ATM, as it wasn't
needed anyway.
