Hello Folks:

I am in a quandry about this message at start up - key board not connected
..... use F1 to continue. How does one continue when the key board is not
being recognized by the operating system? The hard ware and connections
look fine to me.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Ron

Have you tried a different keyboard? Does the keyboard have a PS/2
connector? If so, are any pins bent or missing? Is the middle main holder
there? I had a similar problem where the main middle portion had been
broken off in the connection slot. I had to heat up a little screw driver
in order to melt the plastic enough to allow a totally different keyboard to
plug in there. The first keyboard with the broken connector, is junk.
