Hi guys,
I hope someone out there might be able to help me with this problem. A
colleague's computer came up with this message announcing that windows was
closing down to prevent damage to his computer. He is using Windows XP sp2
on a 2.5ghz machine with 512Mg ram. The message continues with the data
***Stop:0x00000077 /(0x0000155, 0xC0000185, 0x00000000, 0x003CB000)
Could someone tell me what this signifies as I have no idea. This is the
second time he has had this happen to him, both times he has left the
computer for some time and returned to find this message. He has not
installed any new software or hardware recently, the latest software
installed was Mcafee antivirus 9 but that was over a month ago.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Peter

More information would help about your friends computer and what he was
doing immediately before the problem.
In the absence of detailed information, see if anything from this link
below pertains to your problem.
