Kelly's line 121 icon cache not working

I need to enlarge my icon cache and downloaded Kelly's reg file on line 121.
After running it, a screen came up and said that I had to log on and log off
for the reg file to take effect.
I have done this (I assume that when I turn the computer off and then turn
the computer back on that I am logging in) and it still is not working.
This is a new computer running XP Pro and has all the updates installed
including SP1a. This reg file worked just fine on my old computer.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is the value not changing or won't stay changed? In the meantime, run it
again and then run this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

The value is not changing as far as I can tell. When I ran the icon cache
edit on my old computer, the additional values showed up under the file
options in explorer. This time, I am not seeing any changes at all.
I will run the additional reg file and see what happens.

Ah, that is a different edit, Carolyn. You are looking for the one on line
166 (right hand side)
