worked..Thanks..Maybe you can help me with another
issue..update 821557 causes my shortcuts for my cd-rom
drives and floppy not to work. I unistalled the update
and now my shortcuts work. Is there a way to keep this
update and still have my shortcuts work?..Please help

I'm not Kelly (obviously!) but you can find the fix yourself if you visit
her website (www.kellys-korner.com) or Doug Knox's (www.dougknox.com). The
fix doesn't pertain to update 821557 specifically, but it will fix the
missing CD drives issue.

You are welcome, Rich. Thanks for the note. As per the update, MS is aware
of the issue and are working on it. Actually there was news on it posted
this morning in XP General.
