Keeps findng new printer

I installed a Canon i560 printer following the Mfg.
install instructions and it works fine. However,
everytime I reboot, Windows XP gives me a 'new hardware
found' message and wizard and wants to install it. I
have to cancel this window and then continue on with what
I want to do. Printer continues to work fine with the
Canon drivers. This started about a week after I
installed the printer (it didn't do this at first). How
do I get this to stop?

Completely uninstall the printer from the PC by following

http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article One.htm

Then download a new copy of the software package from the Canon site and
install it. Do NOT connect the printer until the software tells you to do
so.
