Keeping received message in HTML format

In Outlook 2007 when I open an email it is in HTML format. Then when I close
the email and reopen it displays in text format.

I have checked under the Trust Center > Email Security and Read all standard
mail in plain text is not checked.

I cannot seem to find any way to change it back or keep received email in
HTML format.

What security software do you use? Does it happen if you view it in preview
too, or just opening messages?

Currently, I am using AVG Free and I do not have it scanning email. I tried
opening an email in preview and it still shows in text format.

What security software do you use? Does it happen if you view it in preview
too, or just opening messages?

Start outlook using the safe switch and see if it happens to new mail
(depending on the cause. old mail may not view as expected)
