Keep Printed Documents keeps resetting!

Some of the websites I go to require that "Keep Printed Documents" is not
checked in order to gain access & print. I don't have any problem unchecking
the box, or even clicking on Apply, but for some reason, no matter what I do,
it keeps resetting to Keep Printed Documents when I exit. I've checked and I
have complete admin rights to everything on my home network. I'd blame it on
my printer software, but I have two printers (Brother 420CN & HP l2600n) and
have the same problem with both. What am I missing?
 
Seems to be a bug in the printer drivers. Some of my other printers don't
even have the Keep Printed Docs setting.
