My wireless network adapter keeps losing the WEP key that I've entered for my
wireless router. The router is a Belkin 802.11g router F5d7230-4. This has
happend on both wireless adapters I've tried it with in this machine. The
first was a D-Link (don't recall the model) and the other is an Airlink
802.11g USB XR adapter model AWLL5025. (Shows up in properties as a RT73 USB
Wireless LAN Card.)
For both I tried updating the drivers and even with the latest ones it still
happened. I have another computer that has a wireless connection to this
router and it has never had this problem. (It's an XP Pro edition if that
makes any difference.)
Running virus scan now. Help would be appreciated. I've always found very
good advice in these newsgroups.
