keep getting user name and password prompt

Been using Windows Mail on my new Vista Premium laptop for a month...
yesterday started getting a prompt to enter my user name and password every
time I open Windows Mail or try to send/receive... same thing when sending
sending an email... seems to remember the user name and password while I
keep the thing open but as soon as I close it and re-open, the user name and
password prompt is back... tried all the usual things but no luck... would
appreciate some help.

weird, happened to me yesterday as well.
3 times during the SYNC of an account it asked for account name/password, synced a few more groups then asked again.
I use comcast is that common to you as well.
it was a comcast account. did not happen on any of the others.

not sure what comcast is... I'm using a Hughes satellite connection for my ISP and accessing a Bell Sympatico email account
weird, happened to me yesterday as well.

Try removing your mail account, then close and reopen WinMail and then add
it back again. See if that helps.

Thanks Steve. Actually it started working properly again by itself when I
powered up the laptop this morning. I'll try your suggestion if I get the
same problem again.
