Keep getting message "that I need IE 6.0 or higher"

I keep getting a message "that I need IE 6.0 or higher"

even though I just upgraded from 5.5 TO 6.0!?!

Can anyone help me out?

If not--what are you attempting that elicits this message?

When you upgrade from 5.5, I'm trying to recall the labelling of the
choices--did you choose custom, or anything other than the default?

Trying to install after download and I'm getting the exact
same message/problem. I've had IE6 installed on my
machine from the beginning. Doesn't tell you how to
resolve the issue. Anyone knows what to do?

What version of windows are you running, windows XP came
with IE6 so there was no need to upgrade your IE from 5.5
to 6
