KB835732 Patch - No One Knows Why?

Seems like quite a few of us are getting multiple
downloads of this patch through XP's Auto Update Feature.
As best I can tell there is only one of these security
updates.

Only solution that seemed to stop these continual
downloads has been to turn off the Auto Update feature.

There must be a better approach any ideas?
