K-Meleon 0.8.2+ - nickname "Wechselbalg"

There is a brand new unofficial version of K-Meleon called K-M 0.8.2+.

The release, nicknamed "Wechselbalg", is a K-Meleon 0.8.2 based on the
Mozilla test release 1.8a2.
I haven't tried it myself yet, but the reactions in the Forum has so far
been only positive. Seems to be a great improvement.

Just installed it...and uninstalled it again. Loved it for it enhanced
feautures (google toolbar, toolbar buttons to block javascript and dl
images, and more), but it was much, much heavier on RAM than the original
0.8.2 version. BTW, do you happen to know how to set K-meleon to open only
one instance ?

For that you must be using the layers plugin and have the following
line included in your prefs.js file:

user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.layers.catchOpen", true);
