JVC GR-DVL920u

I have a JVC GR-DVL920u, which is supposed to function as
a web cam in addition to picture downloading. I can
download pictures but anytime I try to use it as a web
cam, my system reboots instantly. Help.
 
drivers seem ok since the pic download works, and device
manager says everything looks ok
