JVC Digital camcorder and MM2 problem

Hi,
I recently connected my JVC GRDX100 to my XP laptop via
USB and when trying to capture from camera in movie maker
2 getting weird error, an interface has too many events
to fire from!!

Also when using the image mixer software with camcorder,
films capture okay but unable to read them into MM2, get
the following error Cap0009.MPG is not valid because it
does not contain any information.

Any suggestions

my website. Seems like you are importing MPEG2 files.

Hi Barry,

I am having this exact same problem, I only set it all up last night
so haven't fully played about with it all yet.

The image software with the camcorder is naff so I wanted to use Movie
Maker, but it all hangs when you try to capture, and as you say when
trying to import from the .MPG file from the provided software, it
gives an error when the file has no data?

If I find the answer I shall share it, hopefully someone else can
steer us in the right direction?
