I have a new JVC G350 mini DVC. I installed a firewire board intom my PCI
EXpress slot and my Dell says it is working properly. The camera icon shows
up in Device Manager with a yellow questionmark and a yellow exclamation
mark. When you try to captue video in Movie make it says tthe isn't any
device attached. I am going around in circles with mfg's to no avail. ED M

The yellow marks indicates problems.
Try this. Go to device manager and delete the camera.
Then shut down your computer. While it is off, hook up the camera and turn
the camera on.
Then reboot computer. See if Windows detects the camera as new hardware. It
may install some needed drivers or ask you for the disc that came with the
camera. If none came, go to the jvc site and see if there are any downloads
for your model.
Also, check support for any problems like yours. They probably have a
trouble shooting faq or email support.

You can also try another firewire device to make sure the card is working
properly. I have a jvc camera (older and diff. model). When I first
installed the firewire board and tried the camera, I had problems also.
Although the device manager claimed the board was working properly, i still
had to go through the above routine with both devices before they would
work.
