just installed outlook Error:- 'MS Exchange unavailable'pls help

Hello All,

I've recently tried installing MS outlook 2007. When I try to initiate an
outlook session get an error message saying MS exchange unavailable.

This also happened when i first installed MS Office 2003 as well. I use a
vista laptop and all other packages in the office suite works except outlook.

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong!

Assuming you dont have Exchange, Use the mail applet in the control Panel to
delete the account and create a pop mail account, using the settings
supplied by your ISP
