Outlook 2003 and Vista Ultimate

I am trying to install Office Pro 2003 on a new laptop running Vista
Ultimate. All parts except Outlook seem to run properly except that I get an
initial error message about the version not matching. With Outlook I get
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong
version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software.
Please reinstall Outlook." I ran a repair, then uninstalled and reinstalled
the whole Office package. Still the same error. There is a trial of Office
2007 installed on the machine but it has not been activated. What do I try
next?

You can have only one (1) instance of Outlook installed at any one time. Remove the Trial that probably contains Outlook and you should be fine.

Next time post all versions of Office and or Outlook

You have to uninstall the trial before you can install an earlier, or any
purchased version
