Just got password box on boot up but no passwords asked for ??

Weird just apeared on my last bootup. I thought i was screwed as i
never put a password in


Anyway why would it show this if i have not even put a password it. It
made me click on my name to continue ?


I did install.net 1.1. but not sure if i did a reboot after ? Could it
be somthing to do with that ?

I think you're on the right track as far as the .net install
being the cause. In order to logon automatically again, try the
following:

Go to Start -> Run.
Copy and paste the following into the Open box:

control userpasswords2

Click OK.
Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer".
In the box that pops up enter your user name and
password (you can leave the password box blank if your account
does not have a password).
Click OK twice and reboot to see if you get the desired results.
