Junk Mail ignores COntact List/Safe list in some instances

I find that the Outlook 2003 Junk Mail filter ignores my Safe Sender list in
some cases.

I have several lists and users that i get mail i want from but most mail
from them
go straight into the junk e-mail folder instead of being ignored by outlook
as they should. Same applies to some people on my contact list, i've set the
junk mail filter to ignor email from people on my contact list.

What to do ?

Yes - i am rigorous in applying updates, this has been a problem from day one
using Outlook 2003 with Junk Mail filtering.

Does it still ahppen when you disable the filter? Do you have any other
anti-spam product installed as well?
If you connct to an Exchange server it could be that your administrator has
installed an anti-spam tool on the server as well

Maybe i didn't explain myself well enough initially - Outlook is having a
problem - it is not running against Exchange and even if it did an exhancge
sever wouldn't abe able to modify local files on my computer.

It is NOT a problem with other antispam products it is ONLY a problem with
MS Junk Mail feature on Outlook 2003 all service packs and pacthes.

The problem is that the junk mail filter in some cases ignores it's own
settings,
tyhis happens in particular when someone on my contact list sends me short
mils or emails containing certain words.
