Junk E-Mail Problem After Installing SP3

I recently purchased a new laptop with Vista and installed my Office 2003
program. Everthing worked fine in Outlook until SP3 was installed
(automatically) about a week ago. Since SP3 was installed I can no longer
block junk email. I've tried the various levels of "blocked emails"
(Tools/Options/Junk E-mails) but nothing is blocked. I believe this is caused
by SP3 because prior to the installation date my junk emal folder was full of
emails that were never delivered to my email account. Any ideas on how to
correct/override this problem?
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Try downloading the most recent "Junk E-Mail Filter" for Outlook 2003.

I'm sorry to have to ask such a basisc question... but how do I find the last
update to uninstall? And then do I go back to the MS download site to
reinstall the most recent update?

Thanks to both Debby and Rob for your quick response to my problem!

I had a recent automatic update to my outlook 2003 from microsoft and since
then I had the same problem that you described..All my junk mail was coming
into my in-box. I read on another thread that if you remove the UPDATE (in my
case it was a JUNK MAIL UPDATE on 9/11/08) that it might solve the problem. I
went into ADD/REMOVE programs and removed that update and now my junk mail
folder works fine again. There must have been something in that update that
was disabling the junk mail from functioning. Hope that helps...

Thanks for your response and instruction regarding removing the "bad" file. I
found the file, removed it, and reinstalled the updated file again and my
junk mail is now going to the appropriate folder. Thanks again to those that
helped me out of this little problem! This is a great resource.

Glad it worked out!! I hope that others having the same problem have the same
success. We should all get some kind of BONUS from Microsoft :)
