junk e-mail filter

I think that there is a problem with the new version of Junk E-mail filter
for Outlook 2003. I am getting loads more spam in my inbox than before and
hardly any is going into Junk E-mail. Is this a problem for everyone or just
me?

POP3, but i know there must be something wrong as up till now, i have got
about 2 junk e-mails in my inbox, but since installing the new update, I have
had about 20!

Hmmm, I'm not sure what to tell you. There are a couple of things that can
cause this.

1. Spammers getting smarter.
2. Junk Email rules not working as well.

It's happened before that an update that MS releases to the Junk Email
filter does more harm than good. Unfortunately there's not much you can do
about this. If also happens though, that spammers get smarter and develop
new techniques that don't get caught until the next update.

I personally haven't seen a decrease in SPAM detection with the update,
however everyone's spam is different. I'm sorry I couldn't offer more
suggestions.
