Jumping Toolbar and Mouse Icon

Part of the lower right toolbar (the arrow to show hidden icons and the small
Google window next to it) keep jumping back and forth. The mouse icon (arrow
and hourglass), keep jumping too. Also, a bell tone keeps sounding randomly.
Since those began today the computer is running very sluggishly. It is an
Acer Aspire 1800 with Windows XP Home Edition and it usually performs well. I
have a firewall, Norton Antivirus, Etrust Pest Patrol, and A-Squared
anti-malware. Virus scan was clean. Pest scan was clean. A-Square scan showed
26 cookies, which I deleted. No change in problem. This happened once before
a couple of months ago and seemed to clear up on its own. What can I do to
fix this? Thank you!

Try restarting the print spooler on your system.

Goto start - run - type services.msc look for print spooler - right click
and choose restart.

See of that fixes it.
