jpg link in outlook

I received an e-mail in outlook with a link to a .jpg picture. When I click
on the link, or copy and past it in my address bar, the picture doesn't
appear. It's only a red "x" in the upper right corner?

So aside from the fact that you received the link via Outlook, how does this
make an Outlook issue? You are not opening the link in Outlook but you copy
and paste the link into a browser. Sounds like the link points to a
non-existing location. Verify with the sender.

Thank you for the cockiness. Sorry to bother you!!

Not cockiness, logic. Only someone illogical would think Outlook has
anything to do with viewing an image in another application.
