P Pat Willener Dec 24, 2008 #4 Insert Picture will insert an inline image in the message body. Insert File will add it as an attachment. The time it takes depends on the image sizes, as well as the email account type, as it may need to be transferred to the server (Drafts).

P Pat Willener Dec 24, 2008 #7 Jpeg is a compressed file format, but a high compression level will severely reduce image quality. You can compress multiple files into a ZIP file, either using Windows built-in compression tool, or a 3rd-party tools such as WinZip.
