Jpegs not clear, Giff are fine

I have IE 6 with Win 98. The jpegs are not comming
through and the giff are a clear as could be. Wondering
if I need to change the association of JPEG ?
 
No - you need to clear out IE's Temp files. Rt click the IE icon, select
Properties and push the Delete files button under Temporary Internet files.

Now the JPEGs should save just fine.
