logo issue on FP 2003....

I am having a logo made by a professional group. However, everyone of the
logos they send me are within a white box. So if I have a gray background, I
then have a white box with the image inside. I want the background to show up
along the edges of the logo.

The designer thinks there is a place in frontpage to make this adjustment. I
thought it was the design that does this. We have tried giff and jpeg to no
avail.

Anybody know????

Make the logo a gif, open in PhotoShop and under Help you will see "Transport
as transparent image". FrontPage won't do it, an image editor is required.
If you don't have PhotoShop then check out here:
http://stuff.mit.edu/tweb/map.html (I've never tried it, I just Googled for
it).

View, Toolbars, Picture. Click the image and use the icon for Set
transparent color. The better way would be to ask the company designing the
logo for you to make it a transparent GIF.

And make sure that you import the image into FP before using on your page.
