Jpeg issues

I'm not sure when, and I'm not sure why, but I am no
longer to save image files as jpegs from my browser. It
simply opens up the save file window, only allowing me to
save an image to my HD as a bitmap image. I can 'save
target as' from a thumbnail just fine, I'll get a jpeg
saved on my HD, but I can no longer do it directly from
the image's address itself. Any suggestions on how I can
fix this, because I'm so frustrated I'm almost ready to
switch to Netscape; I've tried everything I know.

lazy g,
You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK

Internet Explorer Saves Images As Bitmaps (.bmp Files)

Hi Lazy g,

This can happen if your Temporary Internet Files are filled up.

Try Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files.

Kind regards
