joystick problem with XP

I posted this inquiry under games but there were no takers
so I hope I can get somebody to respond. I also e-mailed
MS support but thus far no repsonse. Here's my sob story.

I upgraded my computer and loaded WINxp Home Edition.
Everything went well with the exception that my MS Force
Feedback Pro joytick no longrt works with one of my flight
simulator games. My FS2002 is not detecting the joystick
although it did when I had WIN98SE. I don't think it's the
joystick because it works well with my other games such as
CFS and CFS3, FS2000, Strike Fighter and IL2. Could be
imcompatability, it could be a driver. Is anyone who is
associated with flight simulators have any idea what could
be wrong? Thanks

Hi,

since you have upgraded the computer from 98 to XP Home,
I would like to know whether you reinstalled the games or
left it as it is. Did you install the software that came
with the joystick and have u calibrated the joystick.
Even i have the same FS and CS, my joystick works
perfectly with both games. Try to reinstall the joystick
software and FS2002.

Thanks for responding. I loading my XP from scratch, as

opposed to upgrade. I installed a new larger HD. I also re-
installed FS2002 but come to think of it I may not have re-
installed the correct MS Forcefeedback software. Rather I
installed the MS Sidewainder Game Controller Version 3.0.
I cannot find my original copy of the MS Forcefeedback Pro
software. Do you know where I can get one? Download maybe?
but how come all my other flight simulation games work
just fine?
