Joining .mov files

Hi All, any help would be very much appreciated. My Nikon 2000E will
take short movies in .mov files, but only for about some 20secs. oin
length. How do I join these together ( using freeware ) please.

On googling I found the following

Graphics General: How do I join mov files?
I have WinME. I need to join 4 mov files into one. Is there a freeware
program that can do it? ...

I'm not sure that you can. Your best bet (assuming you do not have QT
Pro... buyware) might be to convert to avi and then join.

I think you have to convert them to convert them first to a different format
to be able to do this (but I could be wrong), one way to do that is with the
rad videotools.

The RAD Videotools will also join your .mov files together into one single
continuous file. I recently had to dig thru several pieces of software
and the RAD Videotools were the only ones I found that really worked.
Also, the file compression module gave me files that were about 10% of
their original size.
