Im trying to add a XP computer to a domain I just set
up. Usually I go to My computer properties/computer name
and change the domain. For this one...I can only change
the workgroup, and I dont see anything under 'users' in
the control panel...any thoughts?

thanks,

Hi,

Unfortunately with Windows XP Home, you're unable to join a domain as it's
one of the limitations of the "Home" version.
You'll need to get Windows XP Pro to join a domain.

I did not know that... In the "home" version, under computer management/properties/computer name it does state a domain...Im surprised there is no way to change that

XP Home cannot join a domain. It can belong to a workgroup only. The answer
is to get XP Pro. :-)

Windows XP Home Edition cannot join a domain, Marc as Lanwench says. It can
however connect to domain resources. For more details, see the following
