Joing client to remote AD Domain

Hi all, I am trying to join a W2K client to a AD Domain across a static
routed Frame Relay link. The two sites have there own separate domains and
subnets. I have tried entering the DNS servers of the Remote network I am
trying to join and also put in a static IP of the same subnet I am trying to
join. I also tried putting is a static route from the machine I am trying to
join and the network I wish to join. I have had a couple of DNS errors but I
checked the remote networks DNS and the SVR records are in there for the DCs.
Anyone got any ides on this? It's bending my mellon man! It's like the client
machine can't get to the network to join it properly.

Ok bentmellon, you have two separate domains and subnets so why are you
trying to enter the subnet info from the remote network? You can only use
an ip and the subnet where your client resides.
Your DNS needs a zone for your remote subnet. Also, there should be a trust
between the two domains. Once you have it set up, your client needs to be
able to ping the DNS server before even trying to join that domain. So, get
your tcp/ip working first, then worry about DNS.

Hope this helps a little
