I am pleased to announce that John Hood's Best of Free Software has been
completely rebuilt from the ground up, expanded with more than 50
programs reviewed, and has found a new home: www.jhoodsoft.org. Stop
by, tell me what you think.

"John Hood's Best of Free Software" is dedicated to proving the
proposition that it is possible to have a competative, partnering,
"technology forward" home business or small business, AND pay next to
nothing in software development costs.

"Free software or open source software: no screensavers, no 'skin
files', no desktop backgrounds, no 'free trail' versions, no demos, no
spyware...no kidding."

whom this project would not have been completed.

On the "Best of Free Software" site:
This morning I removed the "pricing" on the "Best of Free Software on
CD". (Charging money seemed a little too mercenary to me, to just get
a copy of free stuff).
