On my ME computer, seemingly randomly (but often), when using Internet
Explorer 6.0.2600.0000, I get a pop-up that takes up the entire screen,
shows a bunch of categories, like gambling, music, etc, etc, but seems to
take quite a long time to fully load (so you can close it out via an X).
The only way to get rid of it (while it is taking a long time to load) is to
do control alt delete, which then shuts down IE. So, I decided to wait for
it to fully load, and I clicked on a link, which took me to another similar
looking full-screen site (so couldn't see anything else) with a list of
categories. At the bottom, however, I did notice that it said "powered by
JetSeeker.com".

This is the worst pop up I have ever encountered. Can someone tell me how
to get rid of it? Though I may be mixing apples and oranges (pop ups with
spyware), I did full scan and quarantines with both SpyBot and Adaware last
night, but it is still here today.

Help!

Thanks
Grace

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
