I have two Toshiba laptops. One is about a year or more older. On the older
one when I exit Outlook the tasktray icon goes and the program is completly
shut down. So far, normal. On the new one when I exit Outlook the tasktray
icon does not go away. You can double click on the tasktray icon and it will
not run Outlook. HOWEVER, it still polls for new mail. I know this becuase
when I return from a STANDBY state the Outlook window showing the progress of
SEND/RECIEVE has an error! statement. Have I set something within Outlook
Options to cause this? Any ideas MVP's? Thanking you kindly pre-emptively.
