Hi

We have installed java on our PC, since then we cannot
close AOL down, this only happens when we use Yahoo where
java is used, we also noticed that the screen flickers
where we point the mouse when using Yahoo.

Thanks in advance.

Jules

This is possibly a video driver issue. Which version of Java did you
install? Was it Sun Java, or some version of the Microsoft VM, which is
no longer supported?

u installed the java sdk kit. To any one that needs java
vm for yahoo chat and other programs that require java
virtual machine (java vm) Most aol disks u get in the mail
have that virtual machine in a seperate folder click on
the drive d or which ever drive u cd rom is on and click
explore cd in one of the folders it will say java vm
install that one that will stop you from having to install
that hugh program from sun....

Jules,

make sure you have Java support installed on your system.
To run Java enabled chat.

Click Start, and then click Run.
Type cmd, and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type jview and then press ENTER.

If you see "'jview' is not recognized as an internal or
external command" it means you do not have Java support on
your system. Hence you may not be able to run Java enabled
programs.
