javascript:popup, on Internet Explorer

when i click a link in a web page and get a new window and the address
starts with "javascript" i get nothing but a blank page. i went onto the
options menu on ie and all the java boxes are checked. why won't it open the
link? help! thanks

Do you have Java installed, you can check at the following site:

If you don't have a Java engine installed, try:

yes java is installed, but the links still come up with a blank page
