I am having trouble downloading certain games, puzzles,
etc. because of the java program. I recently upgraded my
OS from ME to XP Home Edition. I went to the site to
install the java program, downloaded the program and I
still am not able to play certain games. Why is that? I
do not have firewall on or the pop-up blocker. Why is my
OS rejecting the java program?

If you've installed Sun's Java runtime then you should have a new control in
your Control Panel..

Open the Control Panel and look for the 'Java Plug-in'.

Check it's various settings - one may need changing for your games to work.

Did you get a Java Virtual Machine from http://java.sun.com/getjava?
Exactly what happens when you try to play "certain games"? What error
messages do you see? What do you expect to happen and what happens
instead?

The more information you give us, the more likely somebody here will
be able to help.
