Java doesn't work

When I try to go to a page with Java, nothing happens.
Can anyone help?

Hi Johann,

You might have to install a Java VM - you can do it from
http://java.sun.com.
In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, you also have to have Java
enabled.
