java console

my wife has java console when she opens up her explorer in the tools option
but i cant access this java console through my ie tools options its just not
there and i ihave it checked where i should i the java settings can somone
give me some expert advice if you dont have anything to say about this dont
reply.thnx darryl

It's possible that you have different versions of Java, depending on the age
of your computers. An older computer might have Microsoft Java. You can
enable the Java console in the Internet Options "Advanced" tab, where
there's a group of buttons under "Java VM".

Newer computers have Sun Java, which has a menu item for the Java console on
the Tools menu. Sun Java also adds a Java tool to the XP Control Panel.

You can install Sun Java on your old computer at
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
by clicking the button next to "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6".

i have sun jave installed on my pc i just dont have the console on my desktop
tools like my wife does. java is enabled and i can run programs that require
java i just want to have it on my tools options but i dont
