Java and XP pro

Can anyone tell me where I can get Java to work with XP Pro and IE6. I have
tried downloading Sun's version but it fails and I cannot get a hold of Sun
to get any support.

Go to:http://wwws.sun.com/software/download/ and download Sun Java Webstart works fine on my pc
you have to activated Java in Tool>Internetoptions
