I recently experienced a blue screen error, PC rebooted itself (Lifeview TV
card driver problem) but I have lost all but one of my Outlook Express
folders and Help and Support (cannot run H & S because a system service is
not running) so I cant use System restore. I tried a previous fix on the
forum but running (helpctr -regserver) gave no response although the other 3
commands did.

I've tried the link but when I follow Warning #1 my screen shot is different,
it shows me C:\Documents and Settings\MyName instead of C:Windows\system32.
Any ideas?

Hi,

That is the normal default for it to open to. You can run the command from
there and it should work just the same. Or you can switch by first entering:

CD \windows\system32

You might also want to first read my responses in another group where you
posted this question, there are some solutions that are far less drastic
than a repair installation.
