itunes.exe - corrupt file

how do i run a chkdsk utility? whenever i connect my ipod to my laptop to
recharge, a warning appears saying that my file or directory ipod
control\itunes\temp file is corrupt and unreadable and for me to run a chkdsk
utility?

thanks! any help i can get is really appreicated.

Hi,

Delete the temp folder, then reconnect the hardware, the folder should be
recreated - hopefully not corrupt this time.
